JOB VACANCY POSITION: BOILER DCS OPERATOR VACANCIES: ONE (01)WORKPLACE: BAGAMOYODATE: 01/07/2026 DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Operate and monitor boiler systems using the DCS. Maintain steam pressure, temperature, water levels, and combustion parameters within specified operating limits. Monitor process trends and respond promptly to alarms and abnormal operating conditions. Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, and load changes according to standard operating procedures. Record operating data, shift logs, equipment status, and production reports accurately. Assist maintenance teams during planned shutdowns and equipment repairs. Monitor fuel, feed water, air, and steam systems for efficient operation. Identify operational abnormalities and report them to supervisors for corrective action. Any other duties as may be assigned by. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED Experience in operating industrial boilers or power plant equipment using a DCS is preferred.
