World Vision is seeking aRegional Sponsorship Coordinator/Specialistto provide strategic leadership, technical support, and operational guidance in implementing sponsorship priorities across the region. Job Purpose TheRegional Sponsorship Coordinator/Specialistwill provide technical leadership and strategic support to strengthen World Vision’s sponsorship operations by: Ensuring effective implementation of sponsorship priorities. Strengthening sponsorship business systems and operational processes. Improving data management and utilization. Supporting national offices to enhance sponsorship capacity. Ensuring quality assurance, risk management, and compliance with sponsorship standards. Strengthening supporter engagement and sponsor-related activities. Collaborating with Regional Office (RO), Global Centre (GC), and National Office (FO) teams to improve sponsorship performance. Key Responsibilities 1. Policy and Standards Provide technical leadership and guidance on sponsorship matters across the region. Support development and implementation of:Sponsorship policiesStandardsToolsOperating modelsBusiness processes Sponsorship policies Standards Tools Operating models Business processes Support Field Offices (FOs) to establish systems ensuring compliance with sponsorship policies and standards. Monitor policy implementation and engage leadership teams on improvement areas. 2. Child Participation and Sponsorship Business Processes Lead regional initiatives that strengthen child participation and improve sponsorship processes. Coordinate quality improvement efforts related to:Child participationSponsor engagement featuresSponsorship deliverables Child participation Sponsor engagement features Sponsorship deliverables Work closely with the Regional Sponsorship Lead to improve sponsorship outcomes. 3. Data Analytics and Reporting Coordinate regional sponsorship data analysis to support:Strategic planningProcess improvementCapacity building Strategic planning Process improvement Capacity building Provide sponsorship analytics and reports to leadership teams. Support data-driven decision-making across Regional and National Offices. 4. Operational Review and Performance Management Lead regional operational and performance review processes. Support planning, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives. Provide feedback on sponsorship priorities and operational performance. Strengthen integration between sponsorship operations and program teams. 5. Programmatic and Cross-Functional Integration Collaborate with technical teams including: Design, Monitoring & Evaluation (DME) LEAP Child Protection and Safeguarding Education Health Gender Micro-enterprise Development to strengthen program integration and impact. 6. Leadership and Capacity Building Provide technical leadership to national sponsorship teams. Support National Offices in strengthening sponsorship operations. Develop and implement sponsorship capacity-building plans. Promote peer coaching and knowledge-sharing initiatives across offices. Support training programs for sponsorship teams. 7. Learning and Knowledge Management Promote sharing of successful sponsorship practices across National Offices. Capture lessons learned and recommendations for improvement. Support organizational learning initiatives with Global Centre teams. 8. Innovation and Sponsorship Development Provide guidance on new sponsorship initiatives and partnership developments. Support National Offices in participating in sponsorship innovation projects. Collaborate with Global Centre teams to:DevelopTestImplementsponsorship initiatives. Develop Test Implementsponsorship initiatives. Provide field-based insights to improve global approaches. Business Systems and Operational Capacity Building The role will: Support implementation and improvement of sponsorship systems, including:Sponsorship Operations IndicatorsDatabasesReporting systemsSponsorship 2.0Horizon Sponsorship Single User Interface (SSUI)Horizon HOPEHorizon desktop and mobile applications Sponsorship Operations Indicators Databases Reporting systems Sponsorship 2.0 Horizon Sponsorship Single User Interface (SSUI) Horizon HOPE Horizon desktop and mobile applications Review Field Office operational needs and coordinate technical support. Support database management, system usage, and performance improvement. Assist with development, testing, and implementation of sponsorship system resources. Conduct sponsorship capacity assessments and develop improvement plans. Business Systems and Operational Support Responsibilities include: Promote effective use of Horizon HOPE systems. Coordinate with WVIT technical support teams to resolve system issues. Support digital transformation initiatives. Review Service Operations Indicators (SOI) databases for:AccuracyCompletenessTimelinessPerformance trends Accuracy Completeness Timeliness Performance trends Develop mechanisms to improve sponsorship system utilization. Supporter Engagement and Sponsor Features Coordinate with National Offices and Global Centre teams to improve supporter engagement activities. Support delivery of sponsor engagement requirements and processes. Coordinate supporter engagement activities between Support Offices and National Offices. Support development and quality assurance of sponsor materials, including:Annual Progress Reports (APR)Christmas/Greeting CardsChild Engagement Worksheets Annual Progress Reports (APR) Christmas/Greeting Cards Child Engagement Worksheets Monitor supporter engagement production against annual plans. Support testing and pilot activities for sponsor engagement initiatives. Document lessons learned and best practices. Risk Management and Mitigation Support monitoring of National Office audits and action plans. Provide technical follow-up support to offices with sponsorship performance challenges. Monitor sponsorship risks and support corrective actions. Promote accountability, transparency, and integrity in sponsorship operations. Review sponsorship performance reports and audit findings. Support offices in managing key risk factors through data analysis and technical assistance. Required Qualifications and Experience Master’s degree preferred in:ManagementSocial SciencesDevelopment StudiesRelated fields Management Social Sciences Development Studies Related fields Professional Experience Leadership Experience Minimum5 years of experiencein development work. At least2 years in a leadership role at country level. Child Sponsorship Experience Candidates must have: Strong understanding of child sponsorship and its contribution to child wellbeing.
