Fleet Management Officer Location: Dar es Salaam About the Role: The Fleet Management Officer is responsible for maximum uptime for all company vehicles, both owned and leased as well as ensuring all vehicle needs are addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities: Fulfilment and management of all company operational vehicle requirements (owned and leased) Ensure regulatory and legal compliance requirements are met for all vehicles HDVs and LDVs Contract and vendor management accountability for all vehicle leasing scenarios Oversight of vehicle maintenance and repairs Management and leadership of driving staff Responsible for management of costs associated with maintenance and vehicle use Development, enforcement, and appraisal of service level agreements for all distribution and order processing Qualifications & Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation and Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent Minimum 3 years in managing LDVs and HDVs Computer literate i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Basic vehicle mechanics What’s on the table!
