Job Summary
MoneyMax Microfinance is seeking aLoan Officer Supervisorresponsible for managing theportfolio through loan assessment, approval processes, portfolio monitoring, and client relationship management.
The successful candidate will support loan production objectives, ensure compliance with lending policies, maintain portfolio quality, minimizeand legal risks, and contribute to the growth of MoneyMax as a development financial institution serving communities in Arusha.

Key Responsibilities
Loan Management & Client Relations
Respond promptly and professionally to loan and technical assistance inquiries.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide information about:LoansTechnical assistanceOther financial products and services
Loans
Technical assistance
Other financial products and services
Conduct due diligence and detailed financial analysis of loan applications.
Prepare credit memorandums and loan recommendations according to established policies.
Coordinate loan closing processes, including:Negotiating loan termsPreparing commitment lettersReviewing due diligence requirementsVerifying loan documentationCoordinating loan disbursements

Credit Risk & Portfolio Management
Monitor borrower compliance with:Loan agreementsRepayment obligationsLoan covenants

Analyze financial statements and borrower reports.
Conduct borrower site visits and collateral inspections when required.
Perform risk assessments according to MoneyMax lending policies.

Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate borrower loan records and financial information.

Recommend improvements to lending policies.
Present portfolio performance reports to management.
Participate in Loan Committee meetings when required.
Prepare reports for the Managing Director.

Government agencies
Foundations
Community organizations
Public and private sector partners
Other Duties
Attend meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences.
Continuously improve lending knowledge and professional skills.
Perform other duties assigned by the Managing Director.
Signatory Authority
The Loan Officer Supervisor is authorized to:
Initiate and sign credit memorandums for approved loans.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have:
