Position : Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Lead Job Overview Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Lead at Jaza Energy Tanzania Company: Jaza Energy Tanzania Location: Dar es Salaam | Full-Time Experience: 2+ Years | Bachelor’s Degree Deadline: 09 August 2026 Job Purpose Oversee end-to-end supply chain, local procurement, logistics, and inventory management to support Jaza Energy’s rapid expansion of solar-powered battery hubs across Tanzania. Key Responsibilities Planning: Develop demand forecasts, supply chain strategies, and weekly/monthly performance reports. Procurement: Lead local purchasing, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure 100% compliance with company purchasing policies. Logistics & Customs: Manage inbound/outbound freight, optimize transport costs, oversee warehousing, and handle import/customs clearance. Data & Process: Monitor inventory accuracy, track OTIF delivery, optimize CAPEX per site, and automate workflows. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in supply chain, vendor management, and Tanzanian import/procurement regulations. Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and IT/data analysis skills . High ethical standards and strict adherence to anti-bribery policies.
