Procurement & Supply Chain Manager TZ – Lemala Authentic Camps & Lodges Lemala Camps & Lodges is seeking an experiencedProcurement &to lead and optimize procurement operations across its Tanzania properties, ensuring quality, value for money, sustainability, and operational excellence. Location:Arusha, Tanzania (Head Office)Travel:Regular travel to camps, lodges, suppliers, and remote locations across Tanzania, with occasional travel to neighboring countries.Application Deadline:14 August 2026 (4:00 PM) Job Purpose The Procurement & Supply Chainwill oversee the sourcing and procurement of goods and services required for Lemala’s safari camps and lodges. The role focuses on developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing logistics and inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the company’s commitment to sustainability and exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Management Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and systems. Source, evaluate, andreliable local, regional, and international suppliers. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements while monitoring supplier performance. Procure food and beverage products, wines, gourmet ingredients, guest amenities, and specialty items. Operational Procurement Manage procurement of safari vehicles, furniture, equipment, construction materials, and sustainable operational systems. Coordinate inventory management, logistics, stock levels, and movement of goods between properties. Oversee import/export processes and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. Collaboration & Performance Management Work closely with Operations, Lodge General Managers, Finance, Chefs, and other departments to support operational needs. Ensure procurement practices align with Lemala’s sustainability and conservation objectives. Monitor procurement performance, budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree inProcurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Professional qualification such asCIPSor a Master’s degree is an added advantage. Minimum7 yearsof procurement experience, preferably within luxury hospitality, tourism, or sustainability-focused organizations. 3–5 yearsof experience in food & beverage management or luxury hospitality retail. Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, gourmet ingredients, and luxury guest products. Experience managing procurement for remote operations, safari vehicles, and East African logistics. Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures. Proficiency in procurement systems such asSage. Required Competencies Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities. Ability to manage complex procurement operations across multiple locations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
