We are currently seeking a professionalFixed Assetwho is highly competent, self-motivated, and passionate about adding value across both entities. Position: Fixed Asset Accountant Reporting to:CountryManager Key Responsibilities Asset Lifecycle Management Maintain the fixed asset register by accurately recording acquisitions, transfers, disposals, impairments, and retirements. Accounting & Depreciation Calculate monthly depreciation and amortization. Postentries. Ensure proper capitalization of assets. Monitor Construction-in-Progress (CIP) projects. Reconciliation & Reporting Reconcile the fixed asset register with the general ledger on a monthly basis. Prepare schedules for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Audits & Compliance Support internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Review CAPEX requests. Verification & Process Improvement Conduct physical asset counts. Resolve discrepancies identified during asset verification. Recommend improvements to internal controls. Collaborate with other departments to enhance asset management processes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred. Minimum of3–5 yearsof accounting experience, including at least2 yearsin fixed asset accounting. Experience using ERP systems such asSAGE, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
