Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
Teaching Computer Science across:Key Stage 3Cambridge IGCSECambridge International AS & A Level (where required)
Key Stage 3
Cambridge IGCSE
Cambridge International AS & A Level (where required)
Assessing, monitoring, and reporting student progress using different assessment methods.
Differentiating teaching approaches to meet diverse student learning needs.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Integrating modern educational technology into teaching and learning.
Participating in school activities, including:Extracurricular activitiesMeetingsSchool eventsProfessional development programs
Extracurricular activities
Meetings

Professional development programs
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have:
Bachelor’s degree in:Computer ScienceInformation TechnologyComputer EngineeringEducation (Computer Science)Or a related field.
Computer Science
Information Technology
Computer Engineering
Education (Computer Science)
Or a related field.
Recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum, especiallyIGCSE Computer Science.
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Added advantages include:
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience teaching Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science.
Knowledge of programming languages such as:PythonJavaJavaScript
