The role ensures the timely, efficient movement of cargo, strict adherence to customs regulations, and seamless communication with port authorities and clients. Key Responsibilities Documentation & Verification: Prepare, verify, and process all shipping, customs clearance, and regulatory documentation accurately. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise closely with customs authorities, port officials, shipping lines, and transport providers to facilitate smooth cargo clearance. Shipment Tracking: Track cargo movements, monitor clearance progress, and resolve any pending clearance requirements or duty issues proactively. Compliance & Record Keeping: Ensure full compliance with national customs regulations, trade laws, and company operating procedures while maintaining accurate physical and digital shipment records. Client Communication: Provide regular shipment status updates and operational reports to clients and management. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Clearing and Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. Competencies: Strong understanding of customs clearance procedures, port operations, and shipping documentation. Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and proficiency in office productivity tools.
