How to write a CV for employers in Tunisia

Large Tunisian companies and multinationals now prefer short, results-led CVs over long ones. Tunisian developers, engineers and tourism professionals also apply widely to remote and European roles, where an English CV is expected.

These are common practice, not rules. When an advert asks for something different, follow the advert.

Language
French or Arabic for most Tunisian employers; English is accepted in business, IT and tourism.
Length
1 to 2 pages, focused on results.
Title
A specific title under your name, e.g. "Full-stack developer, 4 years, React and Node".
Hook
A 3 to 4 line summary of your profile at the top.
Photo
Optional but common; keep it conservative and professional.
Order
Most recent experience first, then education, then key skills.

A note on language

CV Chap Chap is in English: the screens, the AI writing help and the section headings on every template. That suits applications to multinationals, NGOs and UN agencies, Gulf employers and remote jobs. For a French CV you can type your details in French, but the headings (Experience, Education, Skills) stay in English.
