The company is seeking qualified Mechanics to support the maintenance and repair of crushing plants and heavy mining equipment at its GGM site in Geita Region, Tanzania. Job Title: Mechanic Company:Fabec Investment LimitedLocation:GGM Site, Geita Region, TanzaniaNumber of Positions:4Work Schedule:Two-shift rotation (day and night) Key Duties and Responsibilities Successful candidates will be responsible for the following: Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on crushers, screens, conveyors, and mobile plant equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults. Perform welding, fitting, and replacement of worn equipment parts. Inspect machinery and equipment to identify defects and prevent breakdowns. Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics when carrying out maintenance work. Ensure maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently. Support equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime. Qualifications and Requirements Applicants should meet the following requirements: A certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering, mechanical maintenance, or heavy equipment maintenance. At least two to three years of experience maintaining crushers or heavy mining equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics. Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Practical skills in mechanical repairs, welding, fitting, and wear-part replacement. Willingness to work on a two-shift rotation covering day and night shifts.
