Accountant

Position: Accountant West Security Services About the Role West Security Services is seeking a meticulous and reliable Accountant to oversee daily financial activities, ensure accurate bookkeeping, maintain regulatory compliance, and support effective financial reporting across the organization. Key Responsibilities Financial Records: Maintain accurate books of accounts and daily financial transactions. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and timely collection processes. Cash Flow & Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow. Documentation: Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting financial paperwork. Budgeting & Audits: Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and support both internal and external audits. Payroll & Taxes: Assist with payroll processing, handle statutory deductions, and ensure timely tax filings and tax compliance. Record Keeping: Ensure full confidentiality and proper filing of all organizational financial records. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Professional Qualifications: CPA(T), ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification is an added advantage. Experience: Relevant practical experience in accounting or finance operations. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel. Core Competencies: Exceptional numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
