Job Overview Masika Ventures is seeking a motivated and resourceful Junior Technical Officerto gain hands-on experience across various engineering and technical functions. The role provides exposure to multiple disciplines, including: Mechanical Electrical Engineering Operations Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Process Improvement The successful candidate will support technical activities, equipment maintenance, operational improvements, and sustainable engineering initiatives. Previous professional experience isnot mandatory. Candidates who demonstrate willingness to learn, problem-solving ability, and technical interest are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities The Junior Technical Officer will: Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Support quality assurance processes to ensure production and operational standards are maintained. Document: Maintenance activities Equipment modifications Operational challenges Maintenance activities Equipment modifications Operational challenges Develop process improvements using engineering principles and software tools. Support material planning and coordinate with procurement teams for resource allocation. Contribute to environmentally sustainable and safe engineering initiatives. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or managers. Qualifications & Skills Required Applicants should have: Bachelor’s degree in: Engineering Quality Assurance / Quality Control STEM-related disciplines Engineering Quality Assurance / Quality Control STEM-related disciplines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail when troubleshooting technical challenges. Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to different technical responsibilities. Fluency in English and Swahili.
