Job Overview
TheFleet Manager (Managed Fleets)is responsible fordaily fleet operations, ensuring efficient transportation services, maintaining accurate fleet information, supporting drivers, resolving operational issues, and improving fleet performance.
The role involves overseeing a growing fleet operation, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, managing transport documentation, and maintaining strong communication with clients and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fleet Status Management & Operations
Maintain accurate real-time information on:Truck locationsFleet statusOperational remarks
Truck locations
Fleet status
Operational remarks
Update fleet management systems such as Smartsheet.
Handle operational escalations involving:Cargo delaysVehicle breakdownsTransport challenges
Cargo delays
Vehicle breakdowns
Transport challenges
Coordinate with Client Liaison teams and other stakeholders.
Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are uploaded within 48 hours after offloading.
2. Documentation & Trip Management
Ensure timely creation and closure of transport trips.
Prevent trip cancellations and documentation delays.
Verify availability and accuracy of transport documentation.
Ensure transporter documents remain valid after cargo dispatch.
Manage:Import/export requests (ITE)IT system tickets and operational issues

3. Process Compliance & Safety Management
Ensure compliance with company transport procedures.
Enforce convoy and safety protocols.
Escalate operational risks and delays promptly.
Ensure trucks maintain updated information for:Cross-border cargoPre-alert requirementsClearance processes

Pre-alert requirements
Clearance processes
Prevent penalties caused by documentation or clearance delays.
4. Communication & Coordination
Maintain daily communication with drivers.
Monitor vehicle progress and resolve operational issues.

Analyze fleet performance data.

Qualifications
