System Administrator at Computer Centre Job Title: System Administrator Company:Computer Centre Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and maintainLinux servers, particularly RHEL and SLES environments. ManageVMware vSphereenvironments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines. Provision, migrate, optimize, and decommission virtual machines, and manage compute, storage, and networking resources. Perform system patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, hardening, and vulnerability remediation. Monitor server, virtual machine, and infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability. Support enterprise storage, backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity environments. ProvideLevel 2/Level 3 technical supportand perform root-cause analysis within agreed SLAs. Support infrastructure implementations, migrations, upgrades, and high-availability deployments. Use scripting and automation tools to streamline administration, monitoring, and maintenance. Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with internal technical teams, vendors, and customers. Requirements Degree or Diploma inIT,, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years’ experiencein Linux system administration. Strong knowledge ofRHEL and/or SUSE Linux. Hands-on experience withVMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. Experience with enterprise infrastructure environments. Knowledge ofstorage, backup, and disaster recoveryis an advantage.
