Professional Experience Minimum10 years of project or delivery management experience in technology. At least3 years of experience in fintech, mobile money, digital banking, or telecommunications. Candidate Profile The successful candidate should have: Hands-on technical delivery experience withcore wallet, core banking, or payments platforms. A proven track record of managing technical workstreams within larger transformation programmes, includingintegration delivery and data migration. Experience managingTier-1 vendor delivery teamsalongside third-party integrators. Experience working inAfrican marketsis preferred. Experience managingmulti-country technology deliveryis an advantage. Strong working knowledge of:Agile methodologies, includingScrum and KanbanWaterfall project deliveryHybrid delivery models Agile methodologies, includingScrum and Kanban Waterfall project delivery Hybrid delivery models Ability to select and apply the appropriate project delivery approach depending on the project context. Key Responsibilities Technical Project Planning and Delivery Build and maintain detailed technical project plans for assigned workstreams. Integrate technical workstream plans into the overall programme plan managed by the Programme Director. Ensure technical activities, milestones, and deliverables remain aligned with the wider programme objectives. Dependency Management Identify, document, and actively manage dependencies within the assigned workstream. Coordinate dependencies across other workstreams, including:ProductComplianceDataDistributionOperationsCustomer Care Product Compliance Data Distribution Operations Customer Care Vendor and Delivery Team Coordination CoordinateCore Wallet delivery teamsand third-party vendors on a daily basis. Track Statements of Work (SOW) deliverables and project milestones. Monitor vendor performance andService Level Agreement (SLA)adherence. Ensure delivery issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner. Risk and Issue Management MaintainRisks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID)logs. Identify potential risks and issues affecting project delivery. Drive mitigation and resolution actions through to closure. Testing and Quality Assurance Plan and coordinateSystem Integration Testing (SIT). OrchestrateUser Acceptance Testing (UAT). Coordinate performance and security testing cycles. Work closely withQuality Assurance (QA) teams, vendors, and business-unit teamsthroughout testing. Project Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including: Project plans RAID logs Decision logs Action logs Meeting minutes Change records Other relevant project artefacts Resource Management Manage resource onboarding, allocation, and offboarding across the workstream. Coordinate internal employees, contractors, and vendor resources. Ensure appropriate resources are available to support project delivery.
