Available Positions & Requirements Position 1: Assistant Professor in Law School: School of Law and Justice (SoLJu) Vacancies: 2 Posts Qualifications: PhD in Law, Master’s Degree in Laws (LL.M), and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from accredited institutions. Minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 (or B+) at Master’s level and 3.5/5.0 at Bachelor’s level. Minimum 6 years of post-PhD experience in university teaching and research. Admission as an Advocate of the High Court is an added advantage. Position 2: Senior Lecturer in Law Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and at least 5 publication points from peer-reviewed journals. Position 3: Lecturer in Law Minimum 3 years of teaching and research experience at the university level. Position 4: Assistant Lecturer in Law Master’s Degree in Laws (LL.M) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from accredited institutions. Strong command of spoken and written English. Position 5: Lecturer in Computer Science School: School of Digital Technologies and Transformation Studies (SoDTTS) Vacancies: 1 Post PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, Cyber Security, AI, Data Science, or related fields. Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science or closely related ICT fields. Minimum 3 years of teaching and research experience in university computer science disciplines. Position 6: Assistant Lecturer in Computer Science with Cyber Security Vacancies: 3 Posts Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields. Demonstrated competence in core areas such as Programming, Networks, Cyber Security, AI, Cloud Computing, or IoT. Position 7: Assistant Lecturer in Information Technology / Information Systems Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, ICT, or related fields. Experience in online or blended learning environments and competence in systems analysis, databases, web development, or IT infrastructure. Key Duties & Responsibilities Teaching & Assessment: Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Research & Publishing: Conduct independent/collaborative research, publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed journals, and produce academic book chapters. Curriculum & Mentorship: Participate in curriculum development, supervise student research projects/theses, and mentor junior academic staff. Administrative & Outreach: Engage in departmental administrative leadership, university committees, and community outreach activities.
