Position Overview TheSystemsCybersecurity (L1)will be responsible for deploying and optimizing security solutions, managing client requests, supporting cybersecurity projects, and ensuring issues are handled through to closure. The role requires experience in network security projects, including implementation and support of technologies such asNext Generation Firewalls, Network Access Control (NAC), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), VPN, endpoint security, and other security solutions. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of project deployments while working closely with the projectteam and clients. Interact with clients both on-site and remotely to meet complex solution requirements. Respond to escalated client requests. Escalate complex problems to relevant OEM support teams and take ownership of cases through to closure. Write reports and proposals and complete and maintain project documentation. Engage with clients on issues relating to optimization of existing security infrastructure and new solution areas. Perform other related tasks as required. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes Candidates should have: Understanding and appreciation of cybersecurity technical design. Project skills demonstrated through execution of installations and other assignments. Excellent customer engagement skills. Relevant domain specialist knowledge. Excellent verbal communication skills. A client-focused and proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to coach, mentor, and provide guidance to team members. Knowledge of security concepts and their application. Knowledge of security architecture. Knowledge of security technologies and managed services concepts. Knowledge of security monitoring and management tools for performance optimization and troubleshooting. Academic Qualifications and Certifications Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent inInformation Technology, Computing, or a related field. Advantageous Certifications The following certifications will be an added advantage: Cisco Check Point Palo Alto Networks Fortinet F5 AZ-500 SC-200 Security+ CEH CISSP CISM Similar certifications in networking technologies Required Experience Applicants must have aminimum of two (2) years of experience, including: Experience in network security project implementation. Experience implementing and supporting Next Generation Firewalls. Experience implementing and supporting Network Access Control (NAC). Experience implementing and supporting Web Application Firewalls (WAF). Experience with security technologies including:Web SecurityEmail SecurityNACSSEVPN solutionsEndpoint SecurityOther related security technologies Web Security Email Security NAC SSE VPN solutions Endpoint Security Other related security technologies Experience providing technical support to clients. Experience handling incidents from initiation through to resolution.
