Barista (4 Positions) Laryan Company Limited Location Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania Application Deadline 20 October 2026 About the Position Laryan Company Limited invites applications from passionate, skilled, and customer-oriented individuals to fill four Barista positions. Successful candidates will prepare quality beverages, maintain excellent service standards, and help ensure an outstanding experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks in line with established recipes and quality standards. Operate, clean, and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage preparation equipment. Apply appropriate coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art where applicable. Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service while responding to guests’ preferences and inquiries. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of coffee preparation and service areas in accordance with food safety requirements. Monitor coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies; ensure proper storage and minimize wastage. Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with team members to ensure timely service. Follow company procedures, operational standards, and health and safety requirements. Qualifications and Experience Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Services, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality establishment. Practical knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, beverage presentation, and basic coffee equipment maintenance. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent beverage quality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate teamwork, and maintain professionalism. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
