Assistant Housekeeping Manager – Park Hyatt Zanzibar Company: Park Hyatt Zanzibar Location: Stone Town, Zanzibar (Full-Time) Department: Hospitality / Management Experience: Minimum 2 Years Application Deadline: November 07, 2026 Role Overview Park Hyatt Zanzibar is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support daily departmental operations. In this role, you will lead a motivated team to maintain the highest standards of luxury, cleanliness, and safety across guest rooms and public areas while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Operational Support: Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running of the department. Quality Standards: Maintain consistent adherence to Hyatt brand standards for cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, coach, and develop the housekeeping team to foster high performance and motivation. Inventory & Admin: Help manage inventory control, laundry/linen supplies, and departmental administrative tasks. Guest Satisfaction: Address guest requests promptly and maintain operational efficiency to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Diploma, Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience within a housekeeping department (preferably in a hotel environment). Core Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
