Position: Fraud and Investigation Manager Company:Yas Tanzania Type:Full-time Industry:Telecommunications Job Summary The Fraud and Investigation Manager will lead investigations into suspected fraud and other related matters, prepare investigation reports, recommend corrective actions, and support the implementation of measures to prevent fraud and cybersecurity incidents. The role will work closely withYas, Mixx by Yas, and Axian Telecomteams on fraud, investigations, cybersecurity, and awareness initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead comprehensive investigations into suspectedfraud and non-fraud-related matters, covering both internal and external cases. Prepare and review detailed investigation reports and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Ensure investigations comply with applicable legal requirements and internal policies. Collaborate with Yas, Mixx by Yas, andAxian Telecomteams on fraud investigation, cybersecurity, and fraud-prevention initiatives. Support cybersecurity and fraud awareness training to strengthen prevention practices. Establish and maintain effective working relationships withlaw enforcement agencies and government authoritiesto support investigations. Work with IT and other relevant teams to strengthen security controls againstphishing, hacking, data breaches, and related threats. Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative information from multiple sources during investigations. Investigate processes, data, and stakeholder information to identify potential fraud risks and irregularities. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in:ComputerInformation TechnologyDigital Forensicsor another related field. Computer Information Technology Digital Forensics or another related field. Minimum7 years of experiencein fraud investigation and cybersecurity, preferably within thetelecommunications industry. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)or other relevant professional certification is an added advantage. Core Competencies Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills. Confidence in analyzing and interrogating data, processes, and information. Strong interviewing and investigation skills. Ability to conductmulti-source investigations. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data. Good understanding offinancial crime risk managementpractices. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Strong understanding of fraud and cybersecurity risks.
