CV examples, answered
A good CV example is one or two pages, puts contact details and a short summary first, lists your jobs newest first with lines that start with a verb, and only includes skills you can prove. It is written for one kind of job, not for every job.
Use it as a guide, not a copy. Recruiters see the same sample lines again and again, and a copied CV falls apart at the interview. Keep the structure, then write your own duties, results and dates.
Contact details, a two-line summary of what you studied and the job you want, your education, then projects, volunteering, part-time work and skills. One page is enough. Our CV with no experience guide shows a full example.
See the CV with no experience guideOne page for students and early careers, two pages for most experienced people. Long careers can run longer in academic and senior roles. Cut what is not relevant to the job rather than shrinking the text.
